We were about to eat at another cafe until my daughter insisted we eat at the Japanese cafe instead. Seating was pretty straight forward, and the staff seemed to be dedicated and focused on service. The servings could have been improved, i think it was 28 ish dollars for the fish katsu burger (with no fries). The wagyu beef udon was presented nicely, but nothing special. I feel what this place excels in is its cozy ambience, relaxing music, and attentive service. Ill definitely try other dishes in the menu. I devoured mine as i was starving. The matcha and the toast was lovely.

Friendly and prompt service. However the brunch was overpriced and overrated. Two mains and 2 drinks cost us $90. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Delicious food! Quite small but fancy menu. Come again and try everything. Not a sushi place, mind you. My favourites: from 7 - salmon congee, might be not for everyone's taste, but absolutely must try; from 11 - fish burger, smaller than you'd expect first time, but you'd order again next time. Till 2:30 only. Oh, the coffees choice is unorthodox and very good!

The food here is very good. I think I’ve tried about 75% of the menu, and everything has been consistently delicious with great portion sizes. Sometimes there’s a line since it’s first-come, first-served, but you can add your name to the list as soon as you arrive, and the line moves relatively quickly. The coffee is great too.

An excellent Japanese styled cafe in Marrickville. Service was very attentive and staff were friendly. The menu was very interesting. The fish burger was enormous and tasted very nice. The portions were quite large and we left full. The soda was also very good. It was quite busy but we got a table right away.

An excellent bite! Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning around 9.30 am. It wasn’t very busy. Service was excellent. Cod roe toast is ah-mazing…. The umami roe flavour just burst in your mouth in every bite. Very recommended! Side note: their toilet is the cleanest rickety outhouse I’ve ever seen!

I was a bit worried seeing the mix reviews of this cafe however I’m happy that we had a pleasant experience. The staff were very welcoming and kind and the food was really delicious! The yuzu shio chicken ramen was definitely the highlight. Will be visiting again to try their other foods! No waiting needed. The ambience and vibe of the cafe was very nice

The salmon congee was soooo delicious. It looked so unassuming when it arrived, but by the end of the meal I was hooked. The cod roe toast was also very yummy, we got that to share. Honestly havent stopped thinking about the congee since and cant wait to go back. Service was 100/10 as well. Love this place so much. Easily my new favourite café in Marrickville
